Christian Based Business
In a very confusing and secular world, opening up a business that is Christian based can be challenging. Many people, including Christians, subscribe to the 40/40/40 style of employment which means 40 hrs a week for 40 years, and living off of 40% of their income at the end of their working career.  That is sad, not that working hard is a bad thing, but having to live off of 40% of what your income was is the sad and difficult end result. It almost makes you think, why was I working as hard as I could for the little reward it gave at the end.  God never promised that you would be rich, but he did lay out a plan for you to do so. All you had to do was follow it. He never hands it to you or "forces it on you" because we are living in his world of choice. So if you chose it, follow his plan and use it according to his will, he will deliver it. Jesus did say that it would be very difficult for a wealthy man to get into heaven, however he was referring to a secular non-believing man not a Christian man. Christian Businesses or should I say "True Christian" businesses are hard to find but not impossible. If God is talking to you about this, I can assure you he will point you in the right direction and that direction could be right here.  I would suggest that you pray about everything and ask God for direction and if he is pointing you here then he more than likely wants you here.  Contact me for more information, this is a serious, completely Christian opportunity that may not be for everyone and it is exclusive, so if God is nudging you reach out and let me know. The 40/40/40 path is not biblical, it is a man made and very supressive system that rarely promises a happy retirement ending, some are lucky, the 2%, the rest have to budget their final days down to just surviving.
Kimberly Joy
Welcome! I'm Kimberly Joy, but you can call me Kim.  I'm a single mum to three awesome boys. Kristoffer and Kyle attend Pensacola Christian College, and Kaden is a senior in high school. My sons fill my life with so much joy and laughter. (And a lot of material to write about!)  All three of my boys were born in Australia, where we lived for 16 years. I worked in various church ministries and taught in a Christian school there. Now we call the beautiful Missouri Ozarks home. My passion is to share the joy of Jesus through stories and devotionals, which I post on FB, IG, and here!  I believe social media can be greatly used by God to spread encouragement and hope.  I currently have one devotional book, “Tales from Toddlers,” available on Amazon. It's a collection of true stories from my days as a home daycare mama, coupled with practical applications and a Bible study for each day. You can check it out here: amazon.com/dp/1734335009. Or if you'd like to download the first chapter free of charge, click here: https://kimberlyjoyauthor.com/tales-from-toddlers-free.../ If you're looking for a little extra spiritual encouragement, I send out a weekly devotional to my email family. You can sign up here: https://view.flodesk.com/pages/5ff6318aeb66377e296ef81b. I keep two verses in mind as I write each day. One is Nehemiah 8:10, "For the joy of the Lord is your strength." I realize how difficult life can be. We absolutely cannot get through the hard days without the joy of the Lord. The second verse is Isaiah 61:3, "To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified." If there's one message I could shout from the rooftops, it would be this: There is healing, restoration, and joy in the Lord. The circumstances surrounding my becoming a single mum were devastating. Shattering betrayal and crushing pain threatened to destroy me. For some time I believed I would never again know true joy. But now, seven years later, I can honestly say I've never had more joy, peace, or fulfillment in the Lord. My friend, I don't know what has broken your heart and beaten you down, but I do know this: There is healing and hope in Jesus. He offers you comfort, love, and unshakable peace. Thank you for joining me here as we grow in Jesus together. I thank God for every life He allows me to touch.
